Although I've used Procreate for a while, and the presentations went into styles and subjects I'm not currently into, I did read it quickly and then went back to review several areas. Each teacher had something that I could use immediately or refreshed something I should pay better attention to. I do wish there were a way to ask for a few clarifications.

I've always used Photoshop as software to draw, but recently I've had a change in my working process and habits so I've decided to give Procreate a chance. I've started by myself and I was really hating the experience, then I saw this book and I thought it was a sign! I've bought it immediately in the e-book version so I was able to read it everywhere on every device I wanted to and it was amazing. It's very detailed and it guides you through the whole process, starting from the fundamentals, in a very enjoyable way. Not only is a really valid book for Procreate itself, but it's also great in helping you refine your thought process, better understand color theory and has beautiful drawings from amazing artists. I've already suggested it to multiple friends and I will definitely buy more of this kind of books from 21 draw.

Every book I’ve bought (and I’ve bought every one) is a trove of tips that even after doing art for 25+ years are great learning experiences.

I’ll start by saying that the book covers what you get from the courses as part of the 21-Draw subscription. This is presented in a different way and in turn, it works as a good detail reference to the courses and as its own standalone set of lessons. Personally, I find it useful as I don’t have to scrub through a video to find the info I need and can just go to a page instead. It includes pictures and tables explaining what they are talking about. You should expect any art book to be well designed and this fits the bill, easy to understand and navigate. Considering it’s cheaper than the subscription, I’d recommend this to anyone that just wants what they offer for Procreate or off you are still learning the program.
